Alephium · wRATR + xALPH

Amber Hollow

Two ambers, one hollow. Sink your wRATR into the roots and rest xALPH in the amber beside it — the amber is the door in. Each amber asks a set measure of xALPH for every wRATR rooted, sealed in the contract on the day it was dug; the deeper amber asks twice as much and its pot may be poured deeper. Each week the funder pours what he chooses into each, and it runs down to everyone rooted there, share for share, second by second.

The amber keeps what it holds — sealed, unchanged — and gives back exactly what went in, not a unit more and not a unit less. It earns nothing; it only keeps your place. Only wRATR draws from the pot, and your roots can always be pulled: the amber lets go the moment nothing is rooted behind it.

About the xALPH in the amber

Powfi's token, our custody

Five things worth more than any yield

  1. Check the address bar. This page is amberhollow.enchantedforestdefi.com. Nobody from this project will ever message you first, ask for your seed phrase, or send you a "support" link. A convincing copy of a real site is the most common way people lose money, and it usually arrives as a friendly DM.
  2. Send a small amount first. Every time — even when you have done it before, even when you are sure. A test stake costs a few cents in gas and tells you everything you need to know.
  3. Check the address before you confirm. First four characters and last four, every time, in your wallet's own window. A swapped clipboard looks like nothing and costs everything.
  4. If something looks stuck, it is probably waiting, not lost. A block takes about a minute. Ask before you try it again — sending it twice is how one payment becomes two.
  5. We will always show you what is happening. Anything in progress on this page tells you what it is waiting for and how long it has been waiting. If you are ever staring at a screen that will not tell you anything, that is our fault — say so.

New to Alephium? Start with the chain's own guides, not ours — they are better than anything we would write about wallets, and the safety basics there are the ones that matter most right now: getting started · choosing a wallet · funding one · what xALPH is · their FAQ. Those are Powfi's and Alephium's pages, linked because they explain the chain — not as an endorsement of anyone's product, including ours.

What it is

xALPH is Powfi's staking receipt: you give ALPH to their contract and hold a token that says they owe you ALPH. It is their product, not ours.

Powfi's design routes a share of trading fees to stakers — but their docs say no staker distribution is active on mainnet yet, and their stated reward sources are their DEX fee share and active campaign funding, which is to say part of it is a subsidy that can stop. Nothing you park here earns Powfi's yield through us: you keep whatever Powfi pays you, if and when they switch it on. (Powfi docs, read 2026-09-22.)

Check the address bar before you connect anything. This page is amberhollow.enchantedforestdefi.com and it will never be anywhere else, never ask for your seed phrase, and never message you first. Powfi say the same on their own site; with this many people new to Alephium, and people working the chat channels, it is worth saying on ours too.

Before you start

You cannot accidentally send tokens to these pools — the chain will not let you. Everything goes through this page. A wallet that tries to send wRATR or xALPH straight to a pool address gets an error and nothing moves, because a pool is a contract and contracts only take what is handed to them by a proper call. The buttons here make that call. This is the chain protecting you, not us asking you to be careful.

Keep a little ALPH in your wallet. Every action costs a small amount of gas, and your first stake also places a 0.1 ALPH deposit that opens your record in the pool — you get all of it back when you fully close your position. If you stake every last ALPH you would not be able to unstake or claim either, so this page will stop you and say so rather than let that happen.

Use a wallet you hold the keys to. An exchange account cannot sign a contract call, so it cannot stake here at all — and tokens withdrawn from an exchange to a pool address would simply bounce, as above.

Nothing here lives in your browser. Your position is on chain, tied to your wallet address. Clear your cache, switch browsers, use another machine — connect the same wallet and it is all still there, exactly as you left it. The only thing stored locally is the little list of your recent transactions, for convenience.

How you get out

Two doors, both Powfi's. Official unstaking converts at the rate at the moment you convert and releases your ALPH linearly over 30 days. Or you can sell xALPH on their DEX at the live market price — their pool charges a 0.9% fee and is small, so a large exit moves the price against you. (30-day unlock and the DEX exit are from Powfi's own interface; their docs describe the two exits and note the DEX one is "subject to liquidity and slippage".)

A receipt can trade below par when a lot of people want out at once, even with a perfectly healthy contract. It is new code, live for days, and there is no published audit.

That 30 days is Powfi's, and it has nothing to do with this pool. Nothing here locks you up for any length of time: your xALPH comes back the moment you ask for it, and so does your wRATR. The 30-day release only applies later, and only if you choose to convert xALPH back into ALPH with Powfi — that is their queue, on their contract, after you have already taken your tokens out of here.

Impermanent loss, both sides of it

Staking xALPH with Powfi has no impermanent loss: it is a share of a pot, and the rate is designed to move one way. Putting xALPH into a liquidity pool does have IL — if the two sides drift apart the pool rebalances you toward whichever fell. An ALPH/xALPH pool is gentle until the day the receipt trades below par, and then the LP is the one holding it.

Parking xALPH here has no impermanent loss either, for a simple reason: we do not pool it. We hold your token and hand back exactly that token — we never stake it, never call Powfi's contracts, never take a fee on it. That also means we cannot convert it for you; their contract is the only place xALPH becomes ALPH.

We hold your xALPH and return exactly what you deposited — that guarantee is in the contract's code, not in a promise. If the contract failed, we could not replace it for you. Your claim on it is a ledger entry keyed to your own address: it cannot be sold, lent or moved to anyone else without withdrawing first, and if you lose the keys to that address the xALPH behind it is unreachable forever — by anyone, us included.

Those are properties of the contract rather than promises about it: every external call it makes targets a sub-contract of itself, the instruction that would let it send a token to an address you did not supply as yourself is not present in it at all, and there is no function anywhere that moves one person's position to another.

The ratio above applies to these pools, which have two legs. Yggdrasil Roots is a different pool on its own site: one leg, no xALPH, no ratio, and nothing there is ever gated by one.
